Welcome to Inspired Art by Karen Renae

What's special about her art?

Karen is inspired by the work of Monet, Morisot, DeKooning, and Mitchell (among others) – these artists embody all that she loves about impressionism and abstract art, inviting emotion and warmth. She taps further into perception and emotion through her unique style of blending abstract artistic elements with impressionism emphasizing light, color, texture, and fleeting moments. These elements capture a sense of movement and atmosphere without restricting the viewer to rigid details, thereby creating an emotional response. The connection between the two lies in their shared goal of conveying the subjective experience, whether through the impression of a scene or the pure expression of color and shape.
